One red agate bead marks the centre front of this necklace, flanked by warm yellow, smoky lilac and light green nephrite, and white nephrite jade fills almost all the rest. One more coloured bead sits at each end, next to the clasp, which fastens at the back of the neck. The 925 sterling silver spring ring hooks into a small tab stamped S925, and a short fine chain with a little heart tag hangs from the spring-ring end. Untreated nephrite jade, beads 4 mm, 105 g. 925 sterling silver clasp, tab and chain; a red agate bead.

Care & wearing
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store apart from harder stones (diamond, sapphire, quartz) that can scratch the polish, and away from perfume and hairspray. Knotted strands are restrung every few years of daily wear.
Shipping & 7-day returns
Complimentary US shipping on orders of $200 or more. All pieces are in stock and ship in 2–3 business days. All parcels ship insured.
Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery on unworn pieces with the security tag intact. Bespoke (Atelier), one-of-a-kind and engraved pieces are final sale.
Size & fit
40 cm sits close at the neck, 45 cm rests at the collarbone, 50 cm falls just below it. A pendant draws the eye to wherever the chain ends.
FAQ
Nephrite or jadeite? Both are jade, and both are exceptionally tough. Nephrite is the tougher of the two, with a softer, quieter luster; jadeite is harder and glassier. Natural nephrite jade is the principal stone in every JIE JIANG piece; where a piece also carries jadeite, its product page says so. The species is written on the tag, and for high-value pieces a GIA identification report is available on request.
Does it change with wear? Physically, a little: nephrite is very tough but not scratch-proof, so years of daily wear can leave fine surface marks. It does not fade or change colour.
Water and sweat? Fine for hand-washing and rain. Take it off for pools, hot tubs and sport: chlorine and sweat wear on silk thread and metal findings rather than on the stone. Dry it before storing.
