The Stone

Natural nephrite jade

JIE JIANG works in a single material: natural nephrite jade. The species is written on every tag; nothing is dyed, bleached or impregnated. For the longer story of the stone — what nephrite is, and how it differs from jadeite — read the journal.

Disclosure, on every piece

Every piece states its species and treatment on the tag and carries its own serial number. A GIA identification report is available on request for high-value pieces.

Every product page lists the species, origin (Made in China), treatment, dimensions, weight, metal and serial assignment — the same information that travels with the piece.

Care & wearing

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store apart from harder stones (diamond, sapphire, quartz) that can scratch the polish, and away from perfume and hairspray. Knotted bracelets are restrung every few years of daily wear.

Fine for hand-washing and rain. Take it off for pools, hot tubs and sport: chlorine and sweat wear on silk thread and metal findings rather than on the stone. Dry it before storing.

Certification

A GIA identification report is available on request for high-value pieces, and any report number we provide can be verified directly on the GIA Report Check service. Every piece carries its own serial number, assigned on dispatch.
